Welcome to the bridal blog of nearlyweds Craig and Jacqui, created for those who'll be attending our wedding, whether in body or in spirit. So, read, review, and post comments as you like.
We look forward to you sharing in our November nuptials.
There are dozens of places to stay in and around Sanford. We've selected a few locations based on cost and proximity to the wedding venue: Hampton Inn & Suites Rates: $79 USD Studios: $89 USD (This is a group rate available to our guests. Please use the link above to reserve your room by Oct. 19th.)
PROS: It offers a fitness center, pool, and suites. Plus, it's walking distance to numerous eateries and a movie theater. It's also just 5 miles from downtown Sanford.
CONS: You'll definitely need a car to move about.
The Palms Resort and Marina Rates: $59-$99 USD
PROS: It's on Lake Monroe, has a pool, and is in the heart of historic downtown Sanford.
CONS: Luxurious it is not. Seriously. (Think European youth hostel without the glam of a European youth hostel.)
BE SURE TO REQUEST AN UPDATED ROOM. IF IT’S NOT, YOU DON’T WANT IT!
Mount Dora Cottages and B&Bs Those desiring a "bed and breakfast experience" are encouraged to visit the last three links above. All three are located in nearby Mount Dora, a charming lakeside town just 45 minutes west of Sanford, depending on how you drive.
